Accor­ding to Fin­nish pri­vate inves­tors, Ponsse is the most repu­table lis­ted com­pany in Fin­land

Accor­ding to a sur­vey con­duc­ted by the Fin­nish Sha­re­hol­ders’ Associa­tion, the Fin­nish Foun­da­tion for Share Pro­mo­tion and T‑Media, the most repu­table lis­ted com­pany in 2024 is Ponsse. The sur­vey eva­lua­ted the repu­ta­tion of 80 lis­ted com­pa­nies in the eyes of Fin­nish pri­vate inves­tors. Ponsse is the only com­pany in the sur­vey to achieve an excel­lent repu­ta­tion.

The top three most repu­table lis­ted com­pa­nies were Ponsse, KONE, and Gofore and Vai­sala, sha­ring third place. Lis­ted com­pa­nies’ repu­ta­tion was stu­died in May and June 2024, with a total of 7,958 Fin­nish pri­vate inves­tors res­pon­ding to the sur­vey. Based on the sur­vey model, the repu­ta­tion of each com­pany was rated on a scale from 1 to 5. In the top three, Ponsse’s repu­ta­tion was rated 4.04, Kone’s 3.98, Gofore’s 3.97 and Vaisala’s 3.97. This year, Ponsse was the only com­pany in the sur­vey to achieve an excel­lent repu­ta­tion.

Pro­ducts and ser­vices, as well as good mana­ge­ment, impacts on invest­ment deci­sions

Fin­nish pri­vate inves­tors con­si­de­red pro­ducts and ser­vices to be the best aspects of the repu­ta­tion of lis­ted com­pa­nies. In addi­tion to the eco­no­mic percep­tion, the sur­vey also showed that the ima­ges of mana­ge­ment and the price-to-qua­lity ratio of pro­ducts and ser­vices gui­ded the beha­viour of pri­vate inves­tors.

The repu­ta­tion was mea­su­red using the Reputation&Trust sur­vey model, in which the eva­lua­tion is based on eight dimen­sions: gover­nance; financial per­for­mance; lea­ders­hip; inno­va­tion; dia­lo­gue; pro­ducts and ser­vices; the workplace; and res­pon­si­bi­lity.
