“We’re going, whether it’s hot or cold”

Metsuritrio Oy is a provider of forest management services which, for example, clears 500 hectares of forests a year, but also plants 300,000 seedlings during the planting season and provides summer jobs for young people. Metsuritrio consists of an energetic and lively trio from Finland: Anna and Ella Hautaviita and Emilia Määttä.

They have demonstrated the forest industry and harvesting in a positive light on social media and were given the Einari Vidgrén Foundation’s recognition in the summer of 2023.

They are also a well-known trio on social media. For them, both aspects of the work are important: the industry requires positive visibility, and forests require care. While working in nature is rewarding, it also calls for guts and a certain attitude. “This work also gives you guts. We’re going, whether it’s hot or cold,” says Emilia Määttä (in the middle).
