Log­gers Cup and Einari Cup deli­ve­red speed, emo­tion, and true tour­na­ment spi­rit

Log­gers Cup and Einari Cup once again brought toget­her ice hoc­key ent­husiasts to show how a fast­paced, com­mu­nal, and good spi­ri­ted game uni­tes Pons­ses emplo­yees, cus­to­mers, and part­ners. In Timrå, Swe­den, the Log­gers Cup cham­pion was deci­ded in a thril­ling Finland–Sweden final, while in Kuo­pio, Fin­land, the Einari Cup offe­red its fami­liar dose of lively tour­na­ment atmosp­here.

Swe­den clai­med the Log­gers Cup title after a shoo­tout

The Log­gers Cup gat­he­red Ponsse people and cus­to­mers for the third time at the SCA Arena in Timrå, Swe­den. The tour­na­ment fea­tu­red the reig­ning cham­pion Buf­falo from Fin­land and the Swe­dish teams Mam­mot­hand Scor­pion.

The final showca­sed a clas­sic Fin­land– Swe­den show­down between Buf­falo and
Scor­pion. Buf­falo came back from a two goal deficit to take the lead, but Scor­pion caught up and ulti­ma­tely secu­red the cham­pions­hip in a shoo­tout with a final score of 5–3. Cap­tain Ola Sand­ström lif­ted the Log­gers Cup trophy for the first time in Swe­dish colors.

Einari Cup once again deli­ve­red cheer­ful tour­na­ment hoc­key

The tra­di­tio­nal Einari Cup brought Ponsse cus­to­mers, part­ners, and emplo­yees to the Nii­rala Monttu rink to test their skills in ice hoc­key.

This year, an alumni team also joi­ned the event, con­sis­ting of players over 50 who had par­tici­pa­ted in the Einari Cup in the past – pro­mi­sing both nos­tal­gia and strong com­pe­ti­tive spi­rit. Alumni teams PAZ and S15 ope­ned the tour­na­ment with a balanced and nos­tal­gia fil­led game, which S15 ulti­ma­tely won 4–2.

In the final, the ener­ge­tic teams Fox and Bea­ver faced off. Fox domi­na­ted the game from start to finish and capi­ta­lized efficiently on their chances, ear­ning a con­vincing 6–2 vic­tory and the tour­na­ment cham­pions­hip.
