On Octo­ber 3rd, Wah­lers Forst­tech­nik marks a sig­ni­ficant miles­tone with the grand ope­ning of its new branch in the Tem­nitz­park industrial estate near Neu­rup­pin. Loca­ted in a rapidly deve­lo­ping area, the new site was secu­red two years ago to establish a modern ser­vice cen­ter tai­lo­red to the needs of forest mac­hine ser­vice.

The 7,400-square-meter faci­lity inclu­des specia­lized works­hops for forest mac­hi­nes, a compre­hen­sive spare parts ware­house, a dedica­ted trai­ning area, and modern office space. From this stra­te­gic loca­tion, Wah­lers Forst­tech­nik will serve cus­to­mers across Bran­den­burg and Mecklen­burg-Wes­tern Pome­ra­nia.

This expan­sion builds on a foun­da­tion laid in 2023, when Wah­lers acqui­red the busi­ness of long-stan­ding ser­vice part­ner Mar­tin Soer­gel of Templin. The seven emplo­yees from the Templin team will con­ti­nue their work under the Wah­lers ban­ner. In addi­tion, three new posi­tions are open at the Tem­nitz­park branch, with a focus on rec­rui­ting agricul­tu­ral and con­struc­tion mac­hine tech­nicians. Mar­tin Soer­gel will serve as ope­ra­tions mana­ger at the new loca­tion.

Ponsse and Wah­lers Forst­tech­nik part­ners for over 30 years

For more than three deca­des, Ponsse and Wah­lers Forst­tech­nik have sha­red a strong part­ners­hip roo­ted in mutual values and a com­mit­ment to fore­stry pro­fes­sio­nals. Their coo­pe­ra­tion was for­ma­lized in 1993 at the Elmia Wood Exhi­bi­tion, where Wah­lers became the official impor­ter and part­ner for Ponsse forest mac­hi­nes in Ger­many, Austria, Switzer­land, and parts of the Net­her­lands. Wah­lers assu­med full res­pon­si­bi­lity for sales, trai­ning, spare parts, and ser­vice, beco­ming a vital link between Ponsse and Cent­ral Euro­pean cus­to­mers.

With the new ser­vice cen­ter now ope­ra­ting in Temnitz—alongside establis­hed branc­hes in Uffen­heim, Stem­men, and Ilme­nau, as well as faci­li­ties in Austria—Wahlers Forst­tech­nik con­ti­nues to strengt­hen its pre­sence across Cent­ral Europe. Today, the com­pany employs more than 130 pro­fes­sio­nals and is recog­nized as Ponsse’s lar­gest dea­ler worldwide.
