Har­ves­ter heads for track-based mac­hi­nes

While all PONSSE har­ves­ter heads can also be fit­ted in track-based mac­hi­nes, the PONSSE H7 HD, H8 HD, H9 and H10 har­ves­ter heads are especially ideal for their special requi­re­ments.

PONSSE H7 HD

Efficiency and dura­bi­lity. The H7 HD har­ves­ter head is desig­ned speci­fically to meet the special requi­re­ments set by 20–25 tonne track-based mac­hi­nes. The har­ves­ter
head has a rein­forced struc­ture to withs­tand the stres­ses caused by track-based mac­hi­nes. Accu­rate auto­ma­tic cont­rol ensu­res a high cut­ting preci­sion directly to the cor­rect length at maxi­mum speed.

PONSSE H8 HD

More efficient and eco­no­mical har­ves­ting. Power­ful feed and excel­lent geo­metry, which firmly sup­ports even lar­ger stems, gua­ran­tee ext­reme pro­duc­ti­vity. PONSSE
H8 HD is also avai­lable equip­ped with a top saw for proces­sing knot­ted and bendy trees. It is par­ticu­larly ideal for 20–30 tonne track-based mac­hi­nes.

PONSSE H9

Power and relia­bi­lity. The four-rol­ler trac­tion of the H9 har­ves­ter head’s feed rol­lers also works per­fectly with the lar­gest stems and in multi-stem­ming. The unprece­den­tedly ver­sa­tile delim­bing kni­ves ensure that branc­hes are cut cleanly from indi­vi­dual trees and in multi-stem­ming, even if the dia­me­ter varies greatly. H9 can also be equip­ped with a rear delim­bing knife. H9 is best sui­ted for track-based mac­hi­nes of 24–35 ton­nes.

PONSSE H10

For har­ves­ting and proces­sing large trees. PONSSE H10 is desig­ned and built for heavy-duty proces­sing in deman­ding con­di­tions. Its solid struc­ture, firm grip and
power­ful feed gua­ran­tee a high efficiency ratio and relia­bi­lity, even at deman­ding sites.
H10 is best sui­ted for track-based mac­hi­nes of 25–40 ton­nes.

PONSSE H7 HD EUCA

Light and agile. Des­pite the rein­forced struc­ture, the har­ves­ter head is light and agile,
making work smooth and eco­no­mical. Fast sawing, com­bi­ned with the precise and strong three-rol­ler feed, gua­ran­tees highly efficient debar­king and delim­bing.

PONSSE H8 HD EUCA

Opti­mi­sed for debar­king. The debar­king kni­ves and feed rol­lers ensure a good debar­king results already during the first feed. In auto­ma­tic cont­rol, trees are fed quickly to the cor­rect length. The strong frame and tilt frame work in deman­ding con­di­tions.

PONSSE HH360 rota­tor enables the 360-degree rota­tion of har­ves­ter heads

The rota­tor is an inno­va­tive solu­tion that allows the har­ves­ter head to freely rotate 360
degrees. The rota­tor keeps the hoses coming from the crane in place and allows the har­ves­ter head to rotate freely wit­hout unex­pec­ted pro­duc­tion inter­rup­tions due to twis­ted hoses.
